How to access individual columns of data provider in WAD

I want to work with the individual characteristics, key figures of the dataprovider in WAD. how do i access them?

something like DATA_PROVIDER.<char>.value or something like that

Try using the XML Web Item to get the XML data and use XSLT for transformation.
