ECC upgrade issue

Hi experts

I need to copy some modification in one of the standard program from previous version to new version.

previous version is in 4.6C and new version is in ECC 6.

As I am using object key for the new version, the program is not getting opened in Change Mode and its giving error as "Carry out modification comparision first, Change Not possible" .

Any idea how to solve this one

Check the OSS not for the object.
