Translation of Standard Texts

Hi all!

I am trying to create a Chinese standard text, but so far it is unsuccessful. What I've done is to create the standard text in ZH logon, then place it in my smartform. When I run the smartform it shows the standard text as garbage, even though I called the Smartform in language ZH. I have created a text module with Chinese characters, and it displays the info correctly.

Can anyone tell me what it is I am doing wrong, and what are the correct steps?

To view Text in another language, when you are logged in the system in english or different language from the one required in output, might give problems.

Hi,problem was solved by this way, although I think not really optimized:

1. Created the standard text via SO10 in ZH Logon.

2. Accessed the standard text using FM READ_TEXT

3. placed the text field in a text module.

Of course, you still need to set the character set in the options as Chinese Simplified or whatever language you need in order for the text to appear correctly in EN Logon.
