Extending a standard IDoc (BOMMAT04)

Hi,

I want to extend a standard IDoc (BOMMAT04). Adding a new segment to the IDoc is easy, but than I have to use a user-exit in order to populate the new segment with the relevant data.

I tried to find a user-exit for the BOMMAT04 IDoc and I didn't find any.

Does anyone have an idea ?

If you are distributing BOMMAT using ALE, then the BOMMAT extension should be populated using Business Transaction Events (BTEs). If you do not know what they are try finding with your Finance Functional Contact. The transaction for BTEs is FIBF.

It is better you talk to your FI functional/Technical contact with the FM names OPEN_FI_PERFORM_CS000105_E, OPEN_FI_PERFORM_CS000110_E. CS000105 is the event name.
