service tax 12%, education cess 2% on service tax

Hi Gurus,

I got one requirement regarding the service tax.

the client wants service tax 12% on basic amount and 2% education cess on Service tax amount and 1% surcharge on service tax amount using with one tax code. please any one explain me how to create that.

and explain me step by step.

Hi,

You can create one tax code of 12.36% and if you want it seperatee in reporitng.

you can put that logic in reporting.

I don't want 12.36%.I want in one tax code ex: S1

in that we have to mention 12% st, 2% education cess on st and 1% surcharge on st.

these amounts will transfer to respective gl a/cs
