Asset Retirement

Hi,

I have purchased 2 assets at a time. Ex: Computers 2Nos.while creation of asset i have mentioned 2 in Quantity field. Now I want to sale 1 computer.while entering sale thr F-92, quantity is not shown anywhere.How should I make an entry for the sale of the same. Please guide me.

How about the following as a work around?

Transaction ABAON (Asset Sale w/o Customer).....the partial retirement tab allows a quantity to be entered. Then transaction ABNE (Subsequent Revenue)

Thanks for ur reply, but my problem has not been solved.because I want retirement with customer or Cash.

even w/o customer in ABOAN, in the Transaction Tab, what we have to mention in Manual Revenue field sale value or Net Book Value.

and also what we have to mention amount posted field in Partial retirement tab.Is it sale value or Net Book value.

Enter actual sales revenue on front screen.

On partial retirement tab just enter quantity.
