Planned order --> where is order profile/type defined for MRP run?

Experts,

Based on sales orders MRP generates planned orders. Depending on the strategy, different planned order types are created (LA for MTO, KD for stock). Where in customizing is it defined which order type/profile is used for which strategy?

These are defined in IMG path is

Production-->MRP>Procure ment proposals>Planned orders->Define order profiles.

Hi,

Check in SPRO> Demand management> Planned ind req.

Requirement class is linked with requirement type. Req type is linked with strategy.

Stratey is linked with material master.

Thanks for the reply, but this where the profiles are customized. I think there should be something else where you define which order type is used in possible situations. (maybe depending on strategy).

The profiles are customised only.

It will not refer strategy directly.

It will refer account assignment category.this will inturn assigned requirement type & then to strategy.

It will be like that only.
