RE::::::::FTP error

Hi all

while connecting to FTP from XI.i got one eeror message as "

Error occurred while connecting to the FTP server java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused (errno:239)".

Could anyone explain what does it mean and what are all the causes for this?

Rajesh,

Check the FTP connection settings...nothing else..

also make sure, username & password you are using for FTP ,the same u have specified in File adapter

I hope you have gone through this weblog:

I had faced the same error.It was because I had not marked the radio button 'Administrator' during the FTP settings.

Try having a complete check of the FTP Settings you have.

Hi,

Check out the FTP port is correct . Also make sure that you can access this ftp server from PI..

Ping the FTP server and check are u able to connect.

Also make sure that you have right permission.

and also while connecting to FTP from IE i got """A communication error occurred: "Connection refused"

Please check out if your ftp port is open.
