I have created scheduling aggrement using me31L and maintain delivery schedule using me38.

pls guide how to go ahead with goods receipt.

Hi,

Since u have created delivery scchedule,

now u can do grn with reference to the scheduling agreement No. using the tcode MIGo.

note :Enter the Scheduling agreement No. in the purchase order field

check have u maintained following steps

1)Create SA using ME31L

2. Release it if subjected to release strategy ME35L.

3. maintain schedule lines through ME38.

4. create schedule line release ME84.

5. Pass Migo with respect to SA.

Thanks for your reply. I missed the JIT indicator in MRP2 view.

We can create delivery schedule in purchase order also.

What advantage does scheduling agreement offers over purchase orders ?

Under which scenario we have to go for scheduling agreements ?

Hi Sagar,

1.Yes we can create delivery schedule in Po also , which is at the item details in the delivery schdule tab

2.Scheduling agreement is the Outline agreement which is valid for a time period , where as Po is not (time independent).

and using the scheduling agrrement u can create N number of delivery schdule line which is equalant to a Po.

Working with scheduling agreements can shorten processing times and reduce the amount of paperwork you are faced with. One delivery schedule can replace a large number of discrete purchase orders or contract release orders

3.When u r not sure of the quantity and if u wish to enter into longer-term purchasing arrangements with vendors regarding the supply of materials or the performance of services.

No need to create PO
