Hello Gurus,
I am presently working on REM planning table.
When we access the planning table by giving the Production line as selection criteria , then all the materials related to that production line are displayed.
We can do processing like moving the material along the time axis Or Splitting the monthly quantities to weekly quantities for a single material.
Please let me know can we do the above processing by selecting multiple materials at a time.
Waiting for your reply.
Regards,
Ravindra Deokule

Hi ravindra,
The planning Table has the "Reassign Quantities" option to use, whenever you want to reassign the Assigned Qty from one production line to Another production line. So the idea is if first Production line needs some repair work, u can assign the qty`s to second prod line for which the material has already assigned.
Here system will not allow to select Multiple materials, u havee to do one by one. But what you asked in previous post is different. Please close and reward.

Hello pradeep,
Thanks for your answer.
I have given the reward points for earlier answer.
I have one more question about the same.
But when I am using single line, then also I have to assign the quantities to the production line.
Can system automatically assign the quantity to the production line, if I am working with single production line.
waiting for your reply.
Hi Ravindra,
if u want to system directly Assign planned orders (Run schedule quantites) to production line , Do follwoing things,
since your using single line ,
1.Assign that prod line to production version of Header Material in Mrp view.
2.Define BOM Expl/ Dep. REq Selection Method = Production line (2 & 3) in Mrp view
3.Then Run the MRP
Now the system will assign prodution quantities directly to Production line, u can see this in planning Table

Hello Pradeep,
Thanks a lot for your reply.
I want to know more about the entry screen for the planning table.
Do you have any documentation regarding the same?
If I am using strategy for 11 For the FERT which I am doing the planning in REM planning table.
When I put PIR for FERT in MD61,
Then run MRP and then see in the planning table the planned order quantity is not
appearing in the non assigned quantity Row.
But when I use strategy 10, then after the MRP run Planned order is seen in the non assigned quantity row.
Why the same is not happening when I work with strategy 11 ?
Waiting for your reply.
Hi Ravindra,
i donot think ,planning startegy can play in assigning the production quanitites to production line.
The only reason is, u mightnot been selected , "production line" selction method in MRP view. That is why u are getting Unassigned qty in planning Table.
I donot have any material, Better gothrough following SAP help files (under the planning table headings).
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/5f/1faba54aee11d189740000e8322d00/frameset.htm
i hope ur problem has solved , plz close the thread

Hi ravindra,
If u assigned several material for same production line, same will be displayed in planning table for one prod line.
In Planning Table u can select one or several rows(Each Material has Assgined to same line). The system then carries out the selected function for the production quantities in the selected row or rows.
After selecting a row, the system displays a dialog box where you define the period in which you want to process the production quantities
But ensure capacity over load and scheduling part, or u have to do capcity levelling
