Asset Sale

Hi friends,

I have done Asset Sale (Retirement) with F-92 in FI.But our users are asking to sale the Asset through SD for Excise purpose.

For this we have created one material and done MIGO and MIRO also.and we kept in storage location and sold through SD..can i get Profit and Loss on particular Asset when i sane through SD like F-92

Hi Ramu,

When we had this type of requirement, we used SD to do selling with Excise, if any, and finally we used ABAON for Asset Accounting postings. We got Profit/Loss depending upon sale value of the asset. Since, the postings are already done in SD for that particular customer, we didn't use f-92 again. we just used ABAON and finished the job.

Try this way you will get the solution.

But the thing is when i sale the Asset through SD getting sale of fixed asset Credited and when i do the same in ABAON asset sale with out customer the same sale of fixed asset is debited..no balance in Sale of asset.
