Material creation problem

Hi gurus,

while i creating material in MM01 iam getting the error like this ' The company code XXXX does not exist or has not been fully maintained' but i maintained everything in the company code, So could any one give the solution for this problem.

Hi Chitty,

Go to OMS2 and select material type you are creating and click on quantity and value updating. Then select your valuation area ( same as your plant code) and tick quantity and value update.

check the following

goto t code<b>OB37</b> check whether u have maintained fiscal year variant</b>

check in OMSY and change the periods

check in OMS2 for quantity and value updating

check OB62 assign chart of accounts to company code

check OBC5 maintain field status variant

Hi Chitty,

Do not create a company code from scratch it is adviced to copy the standard and customize as per your requirement. Recreate the company code using the standard.

Hi..

In enterprise structure check whether all assignments are done for CO Code.

Also in OMSY Check whether you have entered Plant & Co Code settings with posting periods..

Hi

Check with transaction <b>EC02</b>, then click on structure next navigation, check the settings for ur plant, whether plant has been correcty assigned to company code or not.

And also check for <b>OMSY </b>table, maintain company codes for material management. and assign periods to company code

Also Check with check <b>OB37 </b>assign fiscal year variant to company code

<b>OB62 </b>assign chart of accounts to comp cod

copy the company code from the std one once again and try creating the material
