Copy a value from an aggregate level to a lower level.

I am trying to figure out how to copy a value from one level to another.

For example, I have a hierarchy setup as:

Product Line -> Product Class -> Product Code.

What I need to do is set a key figure value at the 'Product Line' level and have it filter down to all of the 'Product Code's in that product line.

Is there anyway to accomplish this?

Did you try setting the disagg type of the Key Figure as A. check out

"If you enter a value on an aggregate level, the system disaggregates it by copying the value to the details on the lower level."

Hi Ryan,

The closest option you have is to use the Type A as mentioned by another friend here. However, this may not work as desired if you enter data at lower level & expect it to be copied to higher level.

Ideally SAP should provide an option similar to Type E of time based disaggregation wherein the same value is copied across all levels.

We had a similar requirement in our project & faced the same issue. Unfortunatley, Type E (Equal Distribution) is available only for Time based disaggregation.
