Bapi for Shipping notification

Dear All,

Existing Process :

In ME21N Purchase Order is created.It is sent .After vendor receives PO he sends Inbound delivery via EDI, include information of the quantity & delivery date. (Time of the process is two days)

Based on the vendor information, in ME22n confirmed

qty & date will be entered for each line item of PO.

Requirement

. I search BAPI or any way to create shipping notification or PO confirmation

(transaction vl31n ). I want to update Ekes table.

This is a hard one, my friend. I understand what you are trying to do.. Try BAPI_DELIVERYPROCESSING_EXEC. It is tricky though.

Moreover you might want to use a FM to fill the IDOC data. something like IDOC_INPUT_**. this might be a better option

Thanks for the info.

You are right Its is a standard functionality, but in transaction Bapi I don’t find BAPI for MM Shipping notification > in the same way as IDOC Message type: "DESADV" - Delivery: Shipping notification , IDOC type: "DELVRY03"

Wouldn't Advanced Shipping notification or vendor confirmation help? Its is a standard functionality in MM-PUR
