Hi Friends,
Whats the Impact of Hide (Can be shown) function which is available for the Keyfigure Properties in the Query Designer?
Thanks in Advance
Chandu
Hi,
The Hide function can be used when you don't want to see a particular keyfigure in the query result. In cases where a particular key figure is not required to analyse the query result, you may choose to hide the key figure.

Chandu,
This property has a different usuage. When you usethe option 'hide can be shown', it will let the user unhide the key figure and look at the data while navigating in the local query view. Simply this will give the scope to user to edit few elements in the local view. But the changes will not be saved on the server. hope this helps you....

Hi Chandu,
This means that this KF is not shown when the query is executed, but if the user want to see this, then they can go to the local change mode, or click on Filter for the KF structure and bring this 'hidden' KF into the query. Just something like the free chars in your report, not present in the results, but available.
Hope this helps...
