Change rebate conditions

Does anybody know if there is a way to change the condition in a rebate?

For example, I have a rebate which runs from 01/01/07 to 31/12/07. When the rebate was created we also cerated a condition which gives a rebate of 2% and accrues at 2%. For the last month of the year we wuold like to change the rebate condition to 3%, accruing at 3%.

Can I do this within the same rebate or will I have to reduce the term of the first rebate and create a second rebate just for the final month of the agreement?

How about using another rebate condition for that extra 1% exclusively for the month of december and keeping/using the old one for 2% as it is.

Because the second condition record has the same key. If you change the vaildity dates of the first condition record, then add a second condition record you receive a message telling you that the condition is being processed in the current session.
