How to start VC?

Thanks to all for your replies. I am able to proceed now.But I want to know that all the examples are having some services which are predefined.

Example IDES system.

But i am unable to find it.

May be its a silly question. But please respond for this.

I think you can download and install the IDES system from SAP Service Marketplace, but I can't find the link at the moment.

They should automatically be there - are you using Visual Composer for CE? THe links i sent you are only relevant for Visual Composer for CE.

Hi Nicole,

I am not knowing whether I am using Visual Composer for CE or not. How to find that?Since I got msxml (win32 cabinet self-extractor microsoft corporation) and

SVGView to install. I have installed these things. And got a path to start VC.I am able to enter in VC server.So please respose.

Nutan,

Either check with Basis team or do a quick check your self..

In VC, go to Help --> About (check VCServer version here) ...If its 700.<nn>.<n>.<n> (where n is some no), then ure on Netweaver 7...Netweaver CE is version 7.1

Hi Nutan,

For getting you should have VC role assigned in portal.

If you have assigned this, you can get VC by giving the URL in the browser like this http://<sever host name>:<portnumber>/VC .
