Infotype cannot be read - Benefits

Hi,

We have two linked SAP ID's for one employee. (New ID - Current Pernr and Old ID - Old Pernr).

When I enroll for a benefit plan for the New ID, i get an error stating :- Infotype 0171 could not be read for Old ID.

I find that all the delimitations have been carried out appropriately.

Can anybody help me on the above?

Hi,

Did you made sure the CPID is activated and is the same for this employee regardless of the PERNR's? You can have only one paying pernr (active pernr) at a time. Did you maintain IT0171 for both the pernr's or only for one?

Can you elaborate on CPID? What exactly I am supposed to activate?

Also when I check for the status of both the Pernr's ( i.e Old SAP Id and New SAP Id) they seem to be Active.

Infotype 0171 was maintained for old pernr as well as the new pernr.
