No Adapter Engine Found

Hi,

after changing the hostname of our PI system the Adapter Engine is not any longer available at Runtime Workbench. We tried (without success):

- reimport SAP BASIS component

- Cache refresh

- Search for locked users

Do you have any other clues?

Regards,

Udo

Hi Udo,

Have u changed the hostname here at exchange profile?

RuntimeWorkbench -> com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.r3.ashost

Also u may recheck if the entry is properly modified in sicf. Otherwise it has to be changed there as well.

Regards,

Prateek

Check the CIM Settings/Associations in the SLD for this, as you will need to assign the new domain.

Hi Barry,

can you elaborate this a bit? What concret is to do?

I cant find an entry for adapter framework, if i choose:

- content maintenance

- Subset "Landscape Description"

- Class "XI Adapter Framework"

There should be an entry, other PI systems have one.

Udo

There should be an entry and it should have:

Hosted XI Adapter Service (all standard adapters)

Hosted XI Remote Admin Service (admin tool, CacheRefresh & RuntimeCheck)

XI Adapter Hosted HTTP Port (Basic URLs)

XI Contained Adapter (Domain)

XI Sub-System viewed Applcation System (SAP AS Java)

There is an OSS Note - 764176 which may help.

Check the Domains in ExchangeProfile and also in the SLD Data SUpplier in the Java Visual Admin

Udo,

I faced the same issue with PI 7.0...I simply put it back to old hostname

BTW are you trying to use FQDN..?
