Embedding Excel in ALV

Hi guys,

I am trying how to embed ms excel in SAP GUI. Anyone who have experienced this kind of issue please share how to do it.

Hi Srikanth,

First open MS excel and go to <b>tools->options->security</b> do it low and press ok.

Then go to ALV and click on excel button it will open excel with all data.

Hope it will solve ur problem.

That was really helpful. I can now open excel in SAP GUI. But the data which is displayed in the SAP list viewer format is not getting displayed in the excel sheet. the sheet is blank. Is it something like we need to create a template as per the program ? i dont get how to do that.

Hi Srikanth,

Goto -> Tools->Options->Security->Macro Security-> Select the tab Trusted Publisher and check the check box 'Trust access to visual basic project'.
