Help regarding anonymous user

Hi friends,

Need some help regarding Anonymous User in portal. We have configured using <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/1e/e19f58136e654d9709befa464314f2/content.htm">http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/1e/e19f58136e654d9709befa464314f2/content.htm</a>

with guest user as "anon1".

We have <b>anonymous</b> user to which we assigned role with authentication = anonymous for page and iview .

But when i try to open page with URL <b>ep.com:5000/irj/protal/anonymous</b> it shows <b>"no roles assign to the user"</b> but i did assinged the role to the <b>anonymous</b> user.

But if i try with "<b>ep.com:5000/irj/protal/anonymous?guest_user=anon1</b>" It works fine.

Please help me on this.

I found the solution...i attached my role to the <b>anonymous users</b> group in user administartion.. and it worked.

Hi Parth,

We also faced this problem some time back.

The solution for this, what we found was a bit strange.

But it worked for us.

It goes here.

whenever we create any content for anonymous role, some logged in user should visit those pages, roles, iviews atleast once. After that the same content was appearing properly for the anonymous group. Navigate to all nodes in your role assignment and then check with anonymous.

This is not the solution, but could be a bug in EP 7.0
