No change list created when objects changed in IR

Hi,

I have the following issue:

I change an object in the Integration Repository (such as a data type or message type) and save the changes. However, I would expect a change list to be generated when I save the changes and it is not created.

Does anyone know why a change list would not be created when I save the changes ?

Note there are no open change lists in the system at all at the point of saving.

Cheers

Colin.

Hi Santosh,

In answer to your questions:

1. It is only isolated to a specific software component

2. It is happening for all users

3. It is only happening in the IR not the ID

Any ideas ?

How are the Attributes set for this SWCV in the Repository? Set to orginal and modifiable?

Hi Barry,

It is only one of the namespaces within a software component that does not seem to create a change list when objects are changed.

Other namespaces within the same software component are ok.

Any other ideas ?

Colin,

Have you tried to create a new nampspace and then copy all the objects from old nampspace to new namespace and then try if same objects are creating a change list on saving.

One ques, have you imported this namespace from some other system?? or created in the same system itself.

Hi,

I have created the namespace in XI - it has not been imported at all.

I will try deleting and re-creating.

Hi,

1. Check if you have selected your name in the change list.

2. Check if you have selected the check box Open in the change list.

3. Try doing a cache refresh..

Hi,

I have already tried both of these.

The point is there is no change list being generated in the first place.

Hello Colin,

If I am not wrong only when we do changes in ID(Integration Directory), in the change lists it shows the objects which are changed and ready for activation.

when it comes to IR(Integration Repository) even though after doing changes , it doesn't show in the change lists and we need to see whether the changed object is in active status after saving and does the new value is getting effected in the new execution or not.

Correct me if I am wrong in any way.

Hi,

When you save, does the status change to Being processed ? If not, try to add some space in the desctiption field and save it, some times it helps, no explantion though !

Colin,

You can try thi:.

1. Check if Change list is in your name.

2. Refresh the cache by sxi_cache.
