Hi Gurus,

Our client requiement is like this. We have two comapny codes and Two Plants. Can we use <b>one sales organisation in two company codes?</b> .

one sales organisation cannot be used for 2 company codes

instead u can have multiple sales organisations for one company code

the relation ship between company code and sales organisation <b>one to many</b>

and between sales organisation and comp code is

<b>many to one</b>

In stead of having 2 company code have one and activate the <a href="http://www.sap-img.com/zf003.htm">business area</a>.

In SAP Hierarchy Compane code is at higher level than Sales organisation.you can think that the sales organisation(s) are within the company code and hence

you cannot have one sales organisation for two company codes.

No.. you cant... one sales org can be assigned to only one company code.. so at least you need two sales org..

Hi Vas,

Sales organisation is responsible for the selling of goods and services for the customers. we can define sales organisation in such a way that all the activities that are carried on the sales organisation belong to the same company code because the Sales org and the Company code is the highest assignment in the SD-FI integration.

so what ever number of sales organisations u define should be assigned to the same company code and they should not be assignmed to the different company codes

relation between the sales organisation and the company code is Many to One

No you cannot have one Sales Org in two Company Codes but you can have vice versa ie. One Company Code can have any number of sales organization.
