incorrect query aggregation result

Dear all,

I have a query with aggregation result incorrect as following:

Quantity Price Amount

2 100 200

3 50 150

result 5 150 750

From above, you can see that query result 750 is calculated by aggregating quantity and price accordingly and then muliply them after aggregation. However, price can not be aggregated and the correct query result for amount should be 200+150=350.

How can I get the correct result? Please advise. Thanks.

Jin,

As per jerome said, you need to check the aggregation properties for the key figure Amount if it as a Calculated Keyfigure. If it is a CKF then you need to go the enhance option there and set as before aggregation there. So that you can have the desired result. Please try it out once.

Hello Jin

By defauly system performs after aggregation which is resulting 5 * 150 = 750. Just go to property of Amount KF and in the bottom side select the option before aggregation you will get 200 + 150 = 350

I am using BI 7.0 and in the property of amount there is no option of "before aggregation".
