QM must be able to block stock that has reservations against it

Dear Experts,

QM in my company has requested to be able to block stock anywhere in storage, whenever needed. They <u>must</u> be able to block the stock at once even if it has reservations against it. This is not normal procedure I know, but an urgent request and workaround. Customizing for this change is not obvious to me.

I am not getting waht do you want

What i usnedrstood is you need to block the stock whenver required.

Just go to MB1B and do the transfer posting from your stock to blocked stock using different movements depend on where the stock?

Movement type 344 is the one I want to use in MB1B, but I am stopped by error message M7181 saying 0 kg is available including reservations for deliveries.

Unrestricted 100 kg

Reservations 100 kg

I have <u>un</u>succesfully tried to change error message in customizing to warning message, which I think could be the solution.

Suggestions ?

344 is - Transfer posting blocked stock to unr.-use stock - reversal,

do you have availability check activated for this movement type? if so you need to deactivate it first so that it will allow to do so.

Check in OMjj

Check for that movement type - update control/WM field - dy ava check.
