Easy DMS 6.00 SP09 - can not logon

Hi Gurus,

I am testing Easy DMS SP09 (and SP09 Patch 1), but everytime I want to logon the logon screen disapeers for a few seconds and then appears again and wants me to logon again.

When I press the cancle button I get a msg box with "unkown error".

I can use SP08 and all former versions without this problem so i guess something changed in SP09.

Does anyone of you has the same problem?

just checked ST22 and it seems that since SP09 you need authority for funtiongroup SM02. Can somebody tell me what this is for?

Hi,

did you uninstall SP08 before you install SP09 patch 1?

If not, please uninstall EasyDMS once again and then install SP09 patch 1 again.

Please try to reset the RFC Cache as well and test if this is usefull. You will find the Reset button in the settings menu of EasyDMS.

HI,

I unsinstalled SP08 before, also cleared rfc Cache.

At least I uninstalled Easy DMS again and deleted all registry Keys manually, but again could´not log on.

It seems that you need additional RFC authorities since SP09.

hi,

In SP09, there is a new enhancement to get/read system messages using the function group SM02. Like when you login to R/3 you can see the system messages, similar functionality has been added to Sp09. So, u need authorization/permission to read this Fm.

I wonder why SAP doesn´t tell us those things in the patchnotes
