Hi Gurus,
Does anyone has idea on MISL(Multi-Item Single Delivery Location) functionality in GATP? I understand this is new functionality in SCM5.0. Any inputs appreciated.
Thanks,
BKN
Hi BKN
Multi Item Single Delivery Location refers to an advanced funtionality in RBATP. In normal RBA, we have location/product substitutions where sufficient quantities can't be confirmed from a requested location and this process is iterative till the requirement is met. In MISL what we get is confirmations for all the items in the order from a single location where all the items are available in sufficient quantities.
If no single location can confirm all the requirement in total, the entire confirmations are rejected and we get zero confirmation.
The MISL is controlled by Rule Type field where you have to select option L " Multi Item Single delivery Location" in Integrated Rule Maintenance.
There is similar concept to this called " Preselection" where we can manually select the delivery proposals from the list of confirmed quantities from the available substitutions.
Hope this information helps you and can give you more information on this if you want.
