sid menu not turning from yellow-green

Dear friend,

One thing I have a situation as when I started the server R/3 system menu's of SID and dialog instance in the wp table remained in yellow colore , not turned into the green colore . What was the problem .Could you help me to get resolved.

Hi Raj,

This ques has been asked very often in the forum. The best is you to analyse the reason step by step. Pl hv a look at Note 72248 - NT Dispatcher in status Yellow SAP system running. This provides a step by step analysis of the different causes on the mentioned problem. Pl hv patience and proceed as advised in the note. It will defenitely help.

also supply what is the status beside the yellow state.

you should have a message similar to:

1. dialog queue info unavailable

2. no connection to message server

3. something else.

Check the logfiles of the processes (dev_disp, dev_w0, dev_ms) to find out a possible error.
