Unhandled error messages on ESS Web Dynpro

We are implementing ESS Web Dynpro. I have noticed that as delivered, any "normal" R/3 error messages are coming through as stack traces. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there something that we're missing? I would think that standard ESS would include handled error messages.

ESS does have error handling. Error message should be shown. But if the error causes a core dump / exception in R/3, it'll be a stack traces. Your problem might be application specific that it's missing the display of error messages.
