SAP WM-Stock Posting to bin from Inv Management

Hi Gurus

Initialy Storage Location 0001 is Inventory management not WM managed and stock are posted to the storage location .Latter need to link this storage location 0001 to a Full SAP WMS.

While transfering the storage location from INV manged to WMS managed how the stocks can be updated at the storage Bin level.

Pls explain me in detail in case if any BAPI required.

Hi,

I think, you could try this -

Straight away do the bin inventory count process in WM and post the differences.

Alternatively, move the entire stock from that location before assigining with WM#, to another(if you have another location within the same plant). Bring it back and activate TR# creation. Process TO then to bring it back to WM.
