Restriction w.r.t User field VBAK - AUGRU t.code VA01/02/03

Hi all.

It is possible via authorisation to restrict the drop down in the field VBAK-AUGRU while creating the order.

This field have cluster of more than 100 drop down to help the user community across world. A particular user keep on complaining that it becoming very difficult to select his options.

Please help...

Am sorry but controlling VBAK-AUGRU is not possible thru authorisation.Thru authorization the following can be controlled

BERSL

STSMA

BERSL

KLART

SICHT

BUKRS

KLVAR

AUART

BUKRS

SPART

VKORG

VTWEG

Pl try if it is possible thru SPRO.

Hi Anbu,

The search help for this field is H_TVAU, your ABAP team may be able to create a search help exit that restricts the values they can display based on a lookup table or custom auth object.

Best thing would be to speak to an ABAPer to see if this would be a practical solution
