ALV cell with multple

Hi,

Is it possible to place multiple UI elements in a cell of ALV on different lines? For example an image, link, plain text and have them all on three lines or simply one after another?

Hi Georgy,

No this is not possible. You can have only single elements as cell editors in an ALV cell.

Hi Georgy,

Use cell variants. They must be bound to Context field.

Based on the context field, the cell editor can then be changed.

Suppose you want link, Text View, Drop down, you have to create 3 cell variants with 3 different key names.

Once created, set_selected_variant (exact name i dont remember) can be used to display different editors in diff. rows.

as I see set_celleditor method only sets to one type so there is no workaround?
