java.lang.NullPointerException for Creatng Scenario in ID

Hi Guys,

Can any one tell..how this problem resolves?

Just now we have installed PI (NW2004s) and trying to make small application , I made design in IR and now i am trying to configure scenarion in ID..

when I am trying to crete new scenarion though Object (Menu bar)..its taking internal communication and after that giving Error: "java.lang.NullPointerException

details:

internal problem occured(INTERNAL_PROBLEM)

java.lang.null pointer Exception.

tell me how we resolve this issue for making scenario?

Hi,

Firstly check out wether all the postinstallation steps were carried out properly.

Even check out this -> if ur getting the error Adapter Engine cannot be found in Integration Directory

Then follow these steps

1. Re-import SAP BASIS SWCV 7.0 into Integration repository

2. Apply SAP Note 764176.

3. /people/venugopalarao.immadisetty/blog/2007/03/15/adapter-engine-cannot-be-found-in-integration-directory

importing the sap basis component has resolved the isssue, thanks for the quick reponse, i appreciate the help and support.

You might want to check your installation..logs..for errors, its obvious its failing to make a connection..internally
