Hello,
I've a planning function copy with two variables Version From and Version To. I've created a button in a workbook (not WAD) and gave a command range for passing these two variable inputs.
We have a planning version ' 0 ' ( Plan Version ). When I try to give this value in excel cell in Either Version From or Version To and execute, It throws the following error
Characteristic Value ' 0 ' of characteristic 0VERISON is not Alpha converted
Program Error in Class SAPMSSY1 method Uncaught Exception
0VERSION is of lenght 3 and alpha converted. If I pass any other values( like BUD,150, 600) it performs the function. I try to change the format of the cell to 3 digits ie 000 and tried with fail. Master data is active and it seems to happen only to values of length 1 like ( 0, 001, 002, 003.. We have 12 versions for each month )
Any suggestions..
Thanks,
Veeru
Hi Veeru,
We also use versions in our workbooks. I had the same problem. This was solved to enter the value not as zero but as '000 then it's recognized as text.
Hope it helps.

Juriaan
