IDOC Status 51

Hi all

I am trying to post matmas IDOCs into an R/3 system

(for http>XI>IDOC scenario).

The IDOCs are in the destination system with status 51.

I need to post few fields in MARAM and MAKTM segments for this requirements

Can somebody help me in solving this.

It's a functional error in R/3, some data field is empty or with a wrong value ( no-existing material group, material type ... ).

You can see the detailed error in the Status Record. If this explanation doesn't help you ( sometimes the error description are not clear ), you can copy the IDOC with transaction WE19 and process it in debugging ( Inbound function module ). I think The function module in your case IDOC_INPUT_MATMAS01 .

IDocs with status 51 means there is error in application system i.e R/3. The Functional module attached to the process code is throwing an error. I dont think it is related to XI.

Pls check the Idoc created is having all the fields required with correct data.
