Hi Experts.
I am new in CRM and I am working in project where the CIC needs to show data which is calculated in BW.
My problem is that I don't know how to read this information. I have found some information about how to executes bw queries by RFC but I have seen there is tools like segment builder which reads from BW. I am wondering if there is any tool like this for CIC or Visit Plan. I think is not too strange to do this and maybe there is something standard.
Thanks in advance.
Regards.

Hi Alec,
an other possibility to Integrate a BW Report in the CIC is, to create an Action Box Transaction. ( Interaction Center WinClient --> Component Configuration --> Visible Components --> Action Box Settings )
The Action can by a Jump to a BW- Report.
In the Transaction ( Define Configuration Profile for Action Box ) you can configur the logical System ( here BW ) and the Method, witch give you your Report.

Hi Alec,
in CIC you may use the Fact sheet to get BW Data/Query displayed.
1) Create in the BW system a query with a filter variable which
represents the Customer. This has to be an HTML query.
2) Create a new infoblock in the IMG: Use Infoblock
Template CL_CRM_CCKPT_IO_BW_REP as a starting point and the supply
the necessary informations in the Settings screen. All information
should be available in the definition screens for the Query in BW.
One hint: For the name of the variable you have to specify the name
of the infoobject.
I hope this information can help you.
