Accessing SAP Server from Browserr

i came to know that the SAP Server can be accessed through Browser

Pls let me know the steps to be followed for activating this.

Make sure you activate these:

/sap/public/bc

/sap/public/bc/ur

Hi Balaji,

I bet your thinking is sapgui for HTML or webgui

Is quite simple, read

could you please paste the error which you get when you go to the link

http://<server>:<icmport>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui/!

I am getting this error

Error in the ICF node

To log on, specific ICF nodes must be activated in transaction SICF

Check the following ICF nodes, as described in note 517484:

/sap/public/bc

/sap/public/bc/ur</b>

I am able to ping the server through the following

http://bwdev:8000/sap/public/ping?sap-client=100

I have created the following paramater in RZ10

icm/server_port_0 PROT: HTTP, port 8000

icm/host_name_full: bwdev

go to tcode SICF

under default node goto sap -> public->bc right click on it and click on activate

one pop up come appers

press on yess to all (second yes)

then you web gui willl be activated
