Hi Experts,
In the WD Content Administrator, buttons:Create, Maintain JCo Destinations are not activated. Moreover in VisualAdministrator ->Services ->SLD DataSupplier. I am getting Failed to generate and test CIMOMClient Object. Although I have maintained the settings for SLD.
Regards,
Abdullah
Hi Abdullah
1)Check the Message server port no , you can get these details from your Basis person
2) Http://<>/sld to login into this, you need to have admin rights.after logging in . goto Administration link, look the server status..it should be in RUNNING. its better to stop the server once and restart the server again
3) Http://<>/sld --> home > technical systems> web as abap > jco connections> create jco connections. so that you can now access the Create and Maintain JCO in your Content Adminstration-->WebDynrpo.
Best Regards

Hi Everyone,
The problem was solved the other day. The password had expired and during change of password of SLDDSUSER, the security policy in UME was changed from technical user to default. This was the main problem. I had done all the other changes you people had suggested.

Abdullah
Hi ,
Connection to SLD is failing that the reason why Create, Maintain JCo Destinations are not active.
Do one thing try to access the SLD through the browser giving the userid password that you have given in the visualadmin and see of you were able to log in.

Hi
Even i was getting the same problem and these are the steps i followed for resolving it.
loginto http://host:port/sld with SLDDSUSER and password will be abcd1234(initial password).
2.Then it will prompt u to change the password.change the password
3.Then go to visual admin->SLD data supplier .under http settings and cim client objects give the changed password and then click CIM client test .
Hopefully u will get a success message and then go to webdynpro adminsitration and check all the buttons are enabled.
