How to login in SAPServiceJ2E account

In windows XP after installing WAS 640 sneak preview I found automatically SAPServiceJ2E account is created.What's this is for and how to login and remove it.

Hi Ananda,

This a service created during the installation,to run J2EE eingine.

A user is also created sap_j2eadm to login to the J2EE Engine and do administration work.

my qustion is: why do you want to delete this service,if you do so,then you won`t be able to run WAS 640.

I want to uninstall the sneak preview but have deleted the temp installation directory unknowningly.

So how to remove WAS installation ?

Hi Ananda,

You can uninstall your WAS from the same exe you used to install WAS. There is one option for uninstall WAS server.

Hi ananda,

All these user are created by WAS at the time of installation. These users have assigned some rights/roles to start your J2ee angine. Using these users only you can do administrative tasks ons server. All permissions are decided based upon these users.

If you remove this user, then you can't start WAS server and your WAS server will crash.
