Not able to activate defined datatype

hi,

I am not able to activate defined datatype "DT_VENDOR" in the integration repository. When trying to activate it is giving the error "<b>Namespace http://xitest is not defined in the software component version XITEST, 2 of sap.com</b>".

Please help me to resolve this error.

1. Go to Change List tab just next to Objects tab in Integration Repository..

2. Right click ->Choose your objects under different objects to be activated...( here you need to first select your names pace and SWCV and fault message types.. )

3. Nest time activate other objects..

1 .While activating first select check boxes for names pace and SWCV with fault message types...

2 . then again activate remaining XI objects..

hi parbhu,

First activate the software component (if newly created) and then activate the namespace and then go on activating the data type created

Prabhu,

I think you created new namespace and then created DT_VENDOR data type. Are u trying to activate only data type or the whole change list? Try to activate all the change list at once, or activate namespace object first then your data type!!
