Here is some more help:

The IDES documentation is available on CD. You can order the relevant CD for each release using the following material numbers:

3.0D: 500 17 627

delivered on standard documentation CD Release 3.1G

3.1G: 500 19 334

delivered on standard documentation CD Release 3.1H

4.0B: 500 28 823

4.5B: 500 31 731

4.6B: 500 38 502

4.6B (Japanese): 500 40 650

4.6C: 500 45 631 (as of Version 2)

4.6C (Japanese): 500 49 596

As of Release 4.6C, Version 2 the IDES documentation is available

on the standard documentation CD.

You can order documentation CDs and other information from the SAP marketplace

< http://service.sap.com > alias /knowledgecat.

Click on "Online Documentation", to display the CD catalog.

The IDES documentation is also available on the Internet. Goto address < http://help.sap.com >

Note that as of Release 4.7, no special IDES

documentation is available.

To obtain an idea or overview of the IDES business process and example data contained in IDES, you can consult the IDES 4.6C Documentation CD.

thanks for telling me all this,i already have installation guide of version 4.6, but i require 4.7 wihtout any CD, i don't want to download those CD's. Anyway thanks for sending me such helpful details.

1. Please do check the CD`s you have got.

You can find the inst. guide in one of the CD`s.

2.Go to service.sap.com/ides for more information.

hi vikas,

i don't have CD's available with me, so i am not able to see this in CD's. I already traverse service.sap.com/ides and these various links but i have not found anything regarding installation guide of IDES R/3 4.7. if u can send the exact link from where i can download this , then it will be helpful for me.
