How to close a PR??????

Hi Friends,

In a PR, the quantity of a material is 10 pcs. I have already made a PO for 10 pcs. Again I am creating a PO for the same PR. system should stop me from creating the PO as the PR quantity is already exhausted. How to block the system from creating a PO once the PO for PR quantity has already been created??????/

Please advice...

Hi Satyabrata,

You can find transaction OME0 in Customizing -> Materials Management

-> Purchasing -> Environment Data -> Define Attributes of System Message

You can insert new entry for version 00, Application area 06 and

number 076 with category "E" to avoid duplication of PR.

Please also review the note 18128 which indicated that it is

possible to create multiple POs for one requisition even if it is fully

referenced if message 06 076 is not set as error.

HI,

You need to set message

00- 06-076 as E = error in the Configuration path SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Define attributes message for purchasing
