left outer: include filter value in the on-condition

Hi all - Does anyone know anything about the feature for infosets (7.0)

Global properties - "Left Outer: Add filter value to On-Condition"

I check the checkbox and I have no clue where to give condition so that it is executed before data for the infoset is selected to do a join (thats what help claims..to be doing...)

by the way we are on BI 7 , sp 14.
