How to change the standard sales order type-OR when navigating from Service Notifications

You assign the Notification type to the service order in:

SPRO>Plant Maintenance and Customer Service>Maintenance and Service Processing>Maintenance and Service Notifications>Notification Creation>Notification Types>Assign Notification Types to Order Types

So let's say your notification type is S1 and your order type is SM02

Then you assign the sales order type to the service order type in:

SPRO>Plant Maintenance and Customer Service>Maintenance and Service Processing>Maintenance and Service Orders>Functions and Settings for Order Types>Credit Limit Checks, Sales Document Types for Service Orders

So there you can specify a different sales order type (other than OR) for service order type SM02

Hi,

The control function for a service order and a sales order like OR are different. So you need to use SM01 / SM02 orders for notifications S1/S2.
