Condition Record (NACR) not recognized - why ?

Hi everybody,

for my custom output type ZALE - concerned with IDoc triggering - I have defined to condition records,

ZECO - eCommerce Order and

ZECR - eCommerce return

for the purpose to automatically generate output events, when the corresponding document types change.

Things are working fine. However not 100%.

In tcode VA02, in output control (menu option "Extras" / "Output" / "Edit"), the two document types (ZECO and ZECR) behave different:

- for ZECO, the system automatically proposes a new ZALE output record

- for ZECR, there is no automatically proposed ZALE output record !!!

Any idea, why this different behavior for identical customizing?

Thanks in advance for enlightment.

Best Regards

Gregor

Hi,

the condition records are:

Doc Type / Partner Fct. / Medium / Date-time

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

ZECO / SP / A / 4

ZECR / SP / A / 4

Hi

Sorry for the delay Please check whether the output procedure is assigned to order type ZECR.

Hi,

just to clarify:

- the setup as such is working - I can manually assign the ZALE output type, save and generate the IDOC

- what's not working is automatical proposal of the ZALE output type - supposed to work on behalf of the defined condition record

Another hint, -playing a bit with the document types, I found out

- ZECO can be created from scratch

- ZECR requires a reference for creation

My suspition: different setup of the document types also influences the output control!?

Thanks and Regards

I Guess different set up of document types may not matter for the output control.

What matters for the document type is the Output application assigned in document type. To trigger automatically please check whether the output procedure is assigned to the document type

Ramesh,

the downstream setup:

- nace stuff

- destrib schema

- partner profile

- rfc dest. etc

is working as. I can transfer IDocs to the target system.

Pitty is, the first step, auto triggering for this one doc type ZECR refuses to work as expected.

Ramesh ,

thanks for you hint. Indeed the output procedure was missing for this one output type.
