Storage location and post.chge storage location not in the same warehouse

Hi,

I've setup a HU Managed Warehouse. I'm trying to do putaway and Post Goods Receipt. When I trying to do putaway, I got the error. The error message is "Storage location and post change storage location not in the same warehouse".

Please let me know how can I fix this error. I appreciate your help on this.

I recently ran into this issue in a dev system. I had the partner storage location assigned to different storage locations that were assigned to more than one warehouse. The config for SPRO->Handling Unit Management->Basics->Materials Management->HU Requirement for Storage Locations and Default Values for Deliveries has the following in help.

Since the stock in a storage location that is subject to a handling unit

requirement is packed in principle, you must maintain a partner storage

location for transactions such as unpacking. Use a storage location in

the same plant as the partner storage location that has the same or no

warehouse number.
