Moving data between tables (but destination table is not empty!)

Hi everybody

In my iView I have table A (showing bapi data) and table B (showing bapi data as well i.e. not empty!).

I would like to move data rows from table A to table B - keep reading please.

I have found plenty of tutorials (<a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/vc/moving%2bdata%2bbetween%2btables">this wiki</a>) on how to move data from A to B but, unfortunately, they don't work for me for the following reason:

the author uses an <b>empty</b> 'destination' table, while, in my case the 'destination' table (i.e. B table) already shows bapi data. This prevents the suggested structure from working.

Any help would be appreciated.

Eventually it turned out that tables were populated with webservices not bapis.

With bapis everything runs ok.

With webservices (until EP 7.0 SP12) the required behaviour can't be achieved this way.
