Message Mapping

Are there any known isues with the Transformation Step in BPM?

I have an issue where by when I don't select the Create New Transaction Option in the transform step then the whole BPM fails and I don't even get an instance of the process to look at. All I get is a SYSFAIL in the Q and "inbound permanent bpe error" or something like that.

When Icheck this flag then the Integration process goes through but when I go to look at the mapping step in the transform step I can see that it says

MESSAGES_IN <1 ENTRY>

MESSAGES_OUT <NO ENTRIES>

I check the trace for the mapping step and I dont get any error the message mapping definitely works so why am I not getting any output?

By the way are there any known issues with Transformation steps... as in are there certain do's or don'ts in a transform step?

This is all about Transformation Step.

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/14/80243b4a66ae0ce10000000a11402f/frameset.htm

So far I have not notices in the Transformation Step that cause Internal Error.

If your Mapping Logic is correct and the right iterfaces are provided during Interface Mapping then Transformation Step works ok.

Got to T-code SXI_Cache-->Integration Processes -->YourBPMName and check the status of the Error Code there. It should be 0.

Whats the Error Code you are seeing there??

Thanks
