Dear All,

1. Do we attach permit with equipments?? if yes where we do the same?

2. Where we maintain that Order should not get release before the pernit gets issued?

Mainly i need to know process;

1. All we need to do is to create permits and the master related to same. Thats it?

After that , whenever the order gets generated we have to assign permit manually ans issue the same then only release. Is the same process follow for each and every order???

If i will not attach any permit to maintenance order , will the order gets issued?

hi deepak

you can create permits and can be assinged to the order , and also you can control the release of the order provided you have attached to the equipment for which you are creating the order.

You can create the individual permits -which can be very varied even within the company - once you have defined the permit category for your system in Customizing for Plant Maintenance, under Define permit categories. For each individual permit, you must specify to which permit category it is assigned.
