Smartforms - Bold and Continuos underline in DOTMATRIX Printer

Hi,

I need to print certain words in my smartforms in BOLD. I've declared a character format in my smartstyle and used it in my form. Though its printing fine in the local SAP printer its does not show up while printing with a Dot Matrix Printer. Is there some method through which i can achieve this?

Also, while using Underline character format it does not print an underline where there are spaces.

Please help.

Hi,

It happens when the two printers having different Printer Controls' if you go to SPAD Menu (Spool Administrator Menu) you can see the difference in the Printer Control and if you make the Printer control setting for both the printers as same. then it will be ok. and also u have to check what is the device type used for both the output devices.
